Géraldine Lacourte and her husband Richard Desvignes took over the 8-hectare family domaine in Écueil (Montagne de Reims) from her parents in 2007. Godbillon is a surname from her mother’s side of the family. They left the cooperative and began bottling under their own name in 2012. In 2017 they began the conversion to organic farming and became certified in 2020. In 2019 they then began the conversion to biodynamic viticulture.
