Jules Lassalle created his Champagne house in the Montaigne de Reims in 1942. His daughter Chantal Decelle-Lassalle and granddaughter Angéline Templier now run the family winery. Cachet Or is approximately one-third each Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, currently (in 2022) from the 2017 and 2018 vintages. Farming is lutte raisonnée. The wine is aged 3 years on the lees before disgorgement; the current lot was disgorged in 2022. Dosage is 9g/L.This wine is a lovely balance of creamy and racy - and an excellent value in grower Champagne.
