Fermentation and 15 months of élevage were in used oak barrels. The resulting wine is just 12% alcohol and amazingly fresh and refreshing. It has creaminess and complexity without any excessive weight or oakiness. The wine finishes with a lean streak that emphasizes its vibrancy.
