This is a red wine from the Greek Peloponnese - the large almost-an-island just west of Athens. It's made from the indigenous Peloponnese variety agiorgitiko (a.k.a. St. George). Farming is certified organic. It's a generous, medium-bodied wine with pretty, dark fruit, bright acidity, just a little tannin, and a ferrous note.
