Saint-Guilhem-Le-Désert is a beautiful Medieval town and surrounding wine appellation within the Languedoc (now Occitanie) region. This wine is old-vine merlot plus mourvèdre. It is an excellent example of a satisfying French country wine: peppery, fruity, moderate-alcohol, and great quality-price ratio.
