Edgar Brutler founded his winery in Transylvania, Romania (right next to the border with Hungary) in 2018. He farms organically, highlighting native Romanian grapes. 'Gisela' is a co-fermentation of lots of varieties, both red and white, planted in the 1970s by Edgar's father. Everything was crushed with stems, pressed, and then fermented and aged in one 500-liter and another 300-liter oak barrel. The result is a dark rosé / light red with tons of personality and a natural stamp to the flavors. More information from importer Eric Danch
