2021 Unturned Stone Veccino Sauvignon Musque - The Hatchling

Erin Mitchell and Randy Czech organically farm vineyards in Sonoma and Mendocino and practice non-interventionist winemaking, using “intuition, pragmatism, and a dash of whimsy” in the cellar. A clone of Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Musqué is distinctively aromatic, with notes of white blossom, coriander and fresh lemon peel. Erin and Randy raise this wine in egg-shaped tanks with a minimal amount of skin-contact to give the wine a pleasant texture without adding tannin or color.
