La Ca' Növa is the Rocca brothers' small family estate in Barbaresco. They used to sell their grapes to Angelo Gaja. Farming is practicing organic. Vigna Bric Mentina is the Roccas' monopole in the cru Montefico. It is the more elegant, less powerful of their two cru Barbarescos. Fermentation is in stainless steel tank for about three weeks and aging is for 18 months in 3000-liter botti grandi (oak casks).
