As the label says, this is "Dry Amber Qvevri Natural Wine". Tamuna Bidzinashvili formed her winery Kortavebis Marani in 2014. 'Kiss of Kakhuri Mtsvane' is 50% kisi and 50% kakhuri mtsvane (both white varieties), destemmed and macerated for one month and then aged for nine months, both in qvevri. The wine is unfined and unfiltered and has no added SO2 (ØØ). it smells like a basket full of different heirloom apples. On the palate, the wine is crisp and clean, with some body and medium tannin. Drink it with dumplings.
