La Staffa is a family winery in the Castelli di Jesi appellation, in the Marche. Farming is certified organic. Rincrocca is from a vineyard planted in 1972, so 50+ year old vines. It's fermented and aged for a year in concrete vats and then aged further in bottle before release. This is a wine that shows verdicchio's capability to make great, complex, age-worthy wines.
