2020 Domaine de Majas Cotes Catalanes Rouge - Cortado

Domaine Majas is Alain and Agnes Carrère's estate in the Côtes Catalanes (Rousillon, southeast France). Farming is certified organic and fermentations are indigenous. "Cortado" riffs on the Spanish beverage of the same name (coffee and milk). It's 100% whole cluster, 50% Carignan and 50% Grenache Noir, and 50% with two to three day maceration (light red) and 50% direct press (rosé). Fermentation and aging are in large concrete vats.
