Moschofilero is an aromatic white variety, similar to yellow muscat. This one comes from the Peloponnese - the large almost-an-island just west of Athens. Floral and herbal aromas leap out of the glass, and yet the wine is bone dry on the palate. A nice description of dry aromatic wines like this one is “a garden in a glass”. If that sounds like fun to you, try it as an aperitif or with more aromatic Vietnamese and Burmese dishes.
