2019 Augalevada Ribeiro - Seleccion de Anada Tinto

The Mercenario Tinto Añada Selección is a miniscule-production wine aged in one 600-liter old French oak barrel for ten months. The grapes come entirely from the Augalevada vineyard and the wine is composed of 60% Caíño Longo, 30% Brancellao, and 10% Caíño da Terra. The fermentation is made for more than a thirty-day period (depending on the year) and in 2019 was made with 60% whole bunches. The bedrock and topsoil here is completely composed of granite.
