A more serious rendition of Trollinger (the same grape variety as Schiava/Vernatsch in Italy) from old vines ("Alte Reben") near Stuttgart in Germany. Floral and mineral. Still refreshing and light in weight, but with darker fruit and more complexity than most Trollinger/Schiava wines.
