Austrian Martin Lichtenberger and Spaniard Ariana González met during internships at a California winery, fell in love, and eventually moved back to Austria to take over Martin's parents' winery. Certified organic farming of vines in limestone and slate soils on the northwestern shore of Lake Neusiedl in Austria and minimal intervention in the cellar. 'Rot und Weiss' (Red and White) is a blend of blaufränkisch, zweigelt, grüner veltliner, and other white varieties from a very old vineyard on the north-facing slopes of the Leithaberg Mountains. Chill it as you would a light red or dark rosé.
