Ferdinando Principiano is a (clean!) natural and (enlightened) traditional Barolo producer whose cantina is in Monforte and vineyards straddle Monforte and Serralunga. Farming is practicing organic, with his vineyards teeming with wildflowers, insects, and other wildlife. All fermentations are indigenous. This wine is 100% Nebbiolo, mostly from 40-year old vines in the Monforte cru Le Coste. Fermentation and aging for 10 months in stainless steel. 13.5% alcohol.
