100% Jacquère
Think of a Ricola commercial, as this white screams of the alpine air hinted with scents of flowers (Jasmine and Gentian). It’s high acid and very mineral driven. There's a sense of concentration and weight from the age of the vines, without taking away from its airiness and light character.
VINEYARD Grapes come from a single vineyard called 'Freterive', which is an alluvial fan containing a fair amount of limestone and gravels with East-Southeast exposure. Vines are 40 years old/average.
VINIFICATION Pressed into neutral barrels for 8-12 months. No intervention.
