Côte West is an Oakland urban winery making "Old World style yet undeniably Californian" wines. Their rosé of Counoise comes from Mounts Vineyard in Dry Creek Valley (Sonoma County). The vineyard has striking red, rocky soils that are rich in iron volcanic deposits. The wine has pretty aromatics and just enough fruitiness on the palate, while still being completely dry.
