Meulenhof is Stefan Justen's classic German estate in the Mosel. Erdener Treppchen is a crazy-steep vineyard with stone steps built into the hillside. Spontaneous fermentation and 6 months of aging both occurred in stainless steel tanks. 8.5% alcohol. The wine has a classic Mosel nose - stoney and stone-fruity - and is slightly off-dry. The quality-price ratio is exceptional.
