Etna Wine Dinner at Pizzaiolo 9/16

Tuesday September 16th  Paul Marcus Wines will host an all Etna wine dinner at Pizzaiolo. The wines from the majestic Volcano have been attracting people for centuries (almost a millennium, whoa!), but why? 

Join Paul Marcus Wines Italian wine guri Joel and Emilia as they pop and pour 6+ vini and explore with you not only the various soils of the appellation (believe it or not, there is nuance behind, "volcanic"), but the epic history of the area leading up to the present day Etna Wine Renaissance. 

Paul and Joel are bringing in aged bottles of Terre Nere and Girolamo Russo from their own personal cellars. The region's fast rise to popularity in the last decade means that the bottles fly off the shelves for both the producers and retailers- a culture around aging Etna wine does not really exist beyond a few of us super geeks who have been following the region since the later '90s.
