This is certified organic grüner veltliner grown in a mix of soils, dominated by loess over chalk and granite. Erwin Poller hand picks the grapes from his estate vineyards in the rolling hills of the Weinviertal (northeast Austria). Erwin vinifies the wine in stainless steel using his own native yeast culture. It's classic lean, peppery GV with minerality and complexity, and it comes in the big, happy liter bottle.
